<p>Cost for the program is $10/hr class and a $45 Derby Por Vida membership fee, which covers the cost of <a href="http://usars.info/forms/2011/2011%20Membership%20Application.pdf">USARS</a> insurance from January-December 2010.&nbsp; We provide some gear and skates to borrow while you try out Derby Por Vida classes, but please bring your own wrist guards and mouthguards.&nbsp; All classes are located at the L.A. <p>A hybrid of plyometrics training off-skates and endurance drills on  skates. This is place for the intermediate skater to strengthen, sweat  and improve endurance.</p>

<div>Please join me in a multi-level Hatha yoga class designed  specifically for athletes.&nbsp;&nbsp;You don't even have to be able to touch your  toes to take this class!&nbsp; The focus of this meditative  yet&nbsp;light-hearted&nbsp;practice will be on bringing awareness to the breath,  mind and body in order to help you achieve your maximum&nbsp;athletic and  personal&nbsp;potential.&nbsp; Classes will be designed on opening hip  flexibility, shoulder stability, core strength,&nbsp;stamina and overall  balance.&nbsp; All classes are suitable to take before or after roller derby  practice or as a stand alone class.</div>

Hooping is a&nbsp;great ab workout, meditative and a fun way to&nbsp;<span class="il">burn</span>&nbsp;calories. Bring a Blind&nbsp;fold, water, and wear comfortable fitted workout clothes. &nbsp;Hoops are&nbsp;available to borrow and we'll have hoops available to buy in class. &nbsp;Cost for the class is $10/class (this price $5-$15 less&nbsp;than other&nbsp;<span class="il">hoop</span>&nbsp;classes in Los Angeles). &nbsp;I look forward to hooping with&nbsp;you!</p>
