L.A. Junior Derby Dolls
The L.A. Junior Derby Dolls' goal is to create a positive and safe environment for girls ages 8-17 to develop athletic abilities, build self-confidence, leadership skills, teamwork and improve overall fitness while playing the sport of roller derby.

Do you want to learn teamwork, leadership and be empowered and make a difference in your community? Then it’s time for you to join the L.A. Junior Derby Dolls.
Like their older sisters, the L.A. Junior Derby Dolls are a do-it-yourself, volunteer-driven roller derby league trained and run by members of the L.A. Derby Dolls. The L.A. Junior Derby Dolls is the first banked track league for juniors in California. Learning the fundamentals of roller derby with a junior twist (unlike the “adult” version, there is no hitting of any kind in junior roller derby), the L.A. Junior Derby Dolls also participate in community activities and will be traveling around the country to play other junior leagues.
After making their debut at the L.A. Derby Dolls’ Babydoll Brawl in October 2008, the L.A. Junior Derby Dolls have also participated in the St. Vincent Medical Center’s Health Fair and skated in the Hollywood Santa Parade and the Echo Park Community Parade. The media love them too, having been featured on KNBC's "Yip Yap" show and KTLA.
The league made their first trip to Tucson, Arizona in the summer of 2009 to skate with their good friends, the Tucson Derby Brats.
