<p><strong>Los  Angeles</strong><strong> &ndash;</strong> After defeating San Diego&rsquo;s Wildfires in January, the L.A. Ri-Ettes are looking unstoppable and determined to show spectators and roller derby fans that LA will remain top dog on the banked track in the 2012 season.&nbsp; <span style="color: #222222;">On February 11<sup>th</sup> some of the strongest Inter-League skaters, forming Team Bionic from Missile Mountain Roller Derby from Colorado   Springs, will head to the Doll Factory to give our All Stars a run for their money.&nbsp; Team Bionic, includes some of flat track&rsquo;s finest skaters in addition to many familiar faces from Team Legit who defeated the L.A. Ri-Ettes 125 to 96 back in January 2011.&nbsp;&nbsp; This banked track game holds a lot of pressure for each team to bring their hardest hits and fastest footwork for one exciting match.&nbsp;&nbsp; Come down to the home of the L.A. Derby Dolls located in historic Filipinotown and join in the fun!</span><span style="color: black;"> The L.A. Derby Dolls are very happy to announce that all games starting with February 11, 2012 and moving forward will be ALL AGES events!&nbsp; Underage fans will finally be able to attend all Saturday evening league games, but alcohol sales remain for fans ages 21+ only with proper ID.&nbsp; All Saturday evening league games are a PG-13 event rating.&nbsp; Small personal cameras will also be allowed into the Doll Factory, so come and take pictures of your favorite skaters or with them! No personal photographers are allowed to shoot from track-side in the pink walkways at any time.&nbsp; All professional cameras will remain for press outlets only.</span></p>

Derby Dolls events offer a full range of entertainment off the track, with the Vendor Village featuring art, jewelry and clothes, food from Garage Pizza and a variety of food trucks, and various beverage choices &ndash; both alcoholic and non.. Ri-Ettes come face to face with San Diego Derby Dolls&rsquo; Wildfires.</span><strong>&nbsp; </strong><span style="color: #222222;">The Wildfires are the only team in the country to be ranked on both flat and banked track and will be bringing their biggest and best players in hopes of taking down LA&rsquo;s army of top class skaters.</span><strong>&nbsp; </strong><span style="color: #222222;">Taking the fastest and hardest players from home teams - Tough Cookies, Sirens, Varsity Brawlers and Fight Crew - the L.A. Ri-Ettes will stand united and steady against their opponents making sure that everyone knows that the best of the best belong to the L.A. Derby Dolls. </span>In November 2011, the L.A. Ri-Ettes won the $10,000 top prize at the first professional banked track<span style="color: black;"> tournament of modern roller derby, the Chicago Invitational, after beating Rocky Mountain Rollergirls.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: black;">While Saturday&rsquo;s bout will be for ages 21 and older, Sunday will be an All Ages Baby Doll Brawl.&nbsp; The L.A. Derby Dolls fresh meat </span><span style="color: #222222;">and current sub-pool skaters will go head-to-head in a rematch of November 2011&rsquo;s game of the two teams, Bikini Kill and The Misfits. <p><strong>Los Angeles &ndash;</strong>&nbsp;Some derby games can be too exciting, risking one of the Derby Doll fans blowing a fuse in a frenzied moment. Unfortunately for the L.A. Derby Dolls, on December 3<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;something was blown&hellip;.the neighborhood power in Filipinotown, leaving the Doll Factory with no electricity for most of the afternoon and into the evening. Sadly, the 2011 L.A. Derby Dolls Championship game had to be rescheduled. The power at the Doll Factory is back up and running and the Sirens and The Swarm will battle it out for the 2011 trophy on Saturday, December 10<sup>th</sup>. &nbsp;All tickets purchased by fans for the December 3<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;game will be honored on the rescheduled date. For those fans that bought a ticket but cannot make the new date, a credit for the game of their choice in the 2012 season or a refund will be given. There are a handful of tickets available for purchase for the rescheduled date, but will most likely be sold out by game time.</p>
<p>The L.A. Derby Doll fans are ready to see the Sirens and Swarm take to the track and compete for the 2011 Championship Trophy.&nbsp;<span>The Swarm, being no stranger to the championship title game, placed second in 2009 and 2010 having dominated the majority of the season. Once again, finding themselves in the top two, San Diego Derby Dolls&rsquo; Swarm will be hoping third time really will bring them the charm needed to skate away victorious. L.A. Derby Dolls Sirens play the Varsity Brawlers in what will be the Brawlers last game of the season.&nbsp; 2011 has seen the undefeated Sirens storm the track, slaying every team that has dared to cross their path.&nbsp; Already securing their place in the 2011 Championships, this game will be the Sirens&rsquo; chance to show the Varsity Brawlers that there is no home team that can not be stopped by the ladies in blue.&nbsp; With a solid start to the 2011 season, Varsity Brawlers have put up a valiant fight all year and will be looking to go out with a bang, taking down the undefeated Sirens and showing the fans and skaters alike that although they will not compete for the title prize, they can beat the Sirens and end their year as they want to continue into 2012 &ndash; with a win.&nbsp; This game will be action packed, exciting and should not be missed.&nbsp; While Saturday&rsquo;s bout will be 21+ and serving alcohol, Sunday will see up and coming derby skaters, training as the L.A. Derby Dolls Fresh Meat, go head to head under teams named Bikini Kill&nbsp;and The Misfits.&nbsp; This Sunday event will be all ages and half time entertainment will be provided on the track by The Los Angeles Junior Derby Dolls.&nbsp;&nbsp; Come join us at The Doll Factory, located in historic Filipinotown, for a full weekend of all action derby fun!</span></p>

Derby Dolls Sirens will be playing Arizona Derby Dames&rsquo; The Hot Shots from Phoenix, bringing some out of town competition to the Doll Factory.&nbsp; The Sirens, undefeated so far in 2011, will be looking to add another win to their impressive season, but will Arizona fight back to show the ladies in blue who is really the boss?</span></p>
<p><span>While Saturday&rsquo;s game will be 21+ and serving alcohol, Sunday will see the up and coming derby skaters, training within the L.A. Derby Dolls subpool, go head to head with Seattle&rsquo;s Tilted Thunder Railbirds in an all ages event.&nbsp; Half time entertainment will be provided by the L.A. Junior Derby Dolls in a pink and black scrimmage. Unlike other all ages events at the Doll Factory, the L. A. Derby Dolls will host a separate beer garden where all proceeds will go to aid a neighboring derby league, The Bay Area Derby Girls, who were victims of a robbery after their championship game earlier this summer.</span></p>

<p><strong>Los Angeles &ndash;</strong> <span style="color: black;">Saturday, August 20<sup>th</sup> LA Derby Dolls welcome neighboring league, Orange County&rsquo;s OC Rollergirls. &nbsp; The OC Rollergirls head north to the Doll Factory to face off against three time champions, the Tough Cookies.&nbsp; Will the Cookies turn their luck for the 2011 season, or will the newly banked track OC Rollergirls take a win against the reigning champions in this friendly game?&nbsp; OC Rollergirls roster includes former LA Sirens' co-captain, P.I.T.A along side of former Tough Cookie, the hard-hitting Krissy Krash.&nbsp; With the return of these past LA Derby Dolls to the Factory, this promises to be an exciting game with a lot of love, sweat and bruises.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>L.A. Derby Dolls events offer a full range of entertainment off the track, with the Vendor Village featuring art, jewelry and clothes, food from Garage Pizza and a variety of food trucks, and natural energy beverages provided by Ex-Drinks.&nbsp; Tecate beer will be served by Alex&rsquo;s Bar and The Derby Dolls proudly introduce ready-to-drink Jack Daniel&rsquo;s bottles as a new sponsor for the 2011 season. Stila cosmetics will be at the games treating our fans to some pampering, as well as additional 2011 season sponsorship from S-One Helmet Company and N101 Nutrition &amp; Health. There will be live musical entertainment at half time and raffle tickets will be sold during the game for a wide selection of prizes.</p>
<p>Tickets are now available to purchase at&nbsp;www.derbydolls.com/la.&nbsp; General admission tickets are $20; VIP tickets are $40.00. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and close at the end of half time.&nbsp; This is a 21 and over event, featuring beer and wine. The Doll Factory is located at 1910 Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90026 (between Alvarado and Union). General parking is available for $8 at Silver Lake Medical Center, 1711 West Temple (near the intersection of Temple and Union), one block east of the Doll Factory. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>L.A. Derby Dolls, Council Office CD13 and St. Vincent&rsquo;s Hospital Host Their Third Annual Free Health Fair to Help Cultivate Healthy Life Styles for Angelenos in the Central East Los Angeles Area</em></strong></p>
<p>Los Angeles- The L.A. Derby Dolls, Southern California&rsquo;s premiere, all-female, banked track roller derby league, in partnership with Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti&rsquo;s office and St. Vincent&rsquo;s Hospital, responds to the nationwide healthcare crisis by hosting their third annual Free Health Fair on August 27, 2011 at 1910 W. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90026.</p>
<p>The health fair will offer residents traditional and holistic medical services and information. Services will include health screenings; eye exams, dental exams, pulmonary screenings, mammograms, STD testing, as well as Medi-Cal enrollment assistance, massage therapy, and alternative health workshops.&nbsp; Nutrition and disease prevention information such as pamphlets and brochures will also be available. Free food and drink will be provided. Services will be provided by St. Vincent&rsquo;s Hospital, The American Cancer Society, Western Dental, YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, Be the Match Bone Marrow Registry, Planned Parenthood, Jules Stein Mobile Eye Clinic and more.</p>
<p>The Health Fair reinforces the L.A. Derby Dolls&rsquo; commitment to provide comprehensive services tailored to the needs of its community. More than 500 residents are expected to attend.</p>
<p>The L.A. Derby Dolls have worked with the Human Rights Campaign, Children of the Night, Big Sunday, AIDS Project LA and Children&rsquo;s Hospital and American Diabetes Association.
