Wanted: Announcers, Refs and Cheerleaders!The San Diego Derby Dolls Season begins in February and we are now interviewing volunteers interested in long term positions with our league! To set up an interview, please email BonnieDStroir@yahoo.com with a brief description of your experience. Here's what we're looking for: Announcers: Experience in speaking with crowds, respect for an all ages audience and a sport of serious athletes Referees: Must be able to skate on quads, pay close attention to detail Cheerleaders: Group of enthusiastic men/women that can come up with routines and have a good time, dressed in uniform. Cheerleading experience preferred, but not necessary. See these ladies for a perfect example: http://www.myspace.com/jeerleaders Wanted: Half Time Shows Performers!Can you juggle, dance, cheer, spit fire, hula hoop, or have any other unusual talents that would be appropriate for an all ages audience? If you don't mind performing in front of crowds of 800 plus, for less than 15 minutes, then you may be very well suited to perform in a San Diego Derby Dolls bout half time show! We can only pay our performers in advertising, exposure, and memories. However, we have long seasons and can offer these benefits to talented performers on a regular basis!
